ZMH Ltd have unveiled a new range of diesel space heaters for the coming 2016-2017 season.
Following extensive work, the company’s largest order yet is on target to be delivered ready for sale by early October.
The new range will be sourced from a leading South Korean manufacturer. The move of production from the business’ previous supplier in China has been made possible by an increased buying commitment.
“We’ve grown our purchases significantly in each of our previous years selling diesel space heaters,” said James Onions, Director ZMH Ltd. “In fact our production order is up around 75% for this season and it’s enabled us to make some exciting changes to the product line-up and find an even better quality production partner.”
Available in black gloss powder coat paint finish, this year’s range has grown from 3 models last winter to 5 for the season ahead.
“We’ve added both a radiant infrared heater and an indirect diesel space heater,” said James.
“Where customers want a quiet, efficient heater we can offer the infrared model and the indirect heater is a fully fume-free solution where it’s connected to a 150mm 6” flue.
“We expect particularly strong demand for the indirect model, given the quality, the price point and the flexibility of that heater.”
The range will be marketed as ‘super quiet’ having been tested to run with 30% less noise than last season’s comparable models – which themselves were much quieter than many competitor products.
“This type of heater uses a motor with a rotary vane compressor and they can be noisy, particularly where the vibration or buzzing causes resonance in the metalwork of the heater,” said James. “But these heaters are exceptionally well engineered and near-silent.”
ZMH Ltd plan a series of videos to help operators understand what to look for when buying this type of heater, and how to perform basic service and maintenance checks.
“Unfortunately people assume all direct diesel space heaters are essentially the same – this isn’t the case, quality varies massively.”
ZMH Ltd will once again offer a full inventory of spare parts, with engineering and back to base repairs available from Telford.
